h h hi!

Hi there!
I have been to an amazing interior shop
today. With me I had a few boxes of
paintings which are to be sold there.
I will go back soon to take some pics
for you!!

Now I have to tell you that I´ve
got the most awesome job ever!
I have so many privileges! For instance,
this Tuesday my students and I went to
see the art works by the Norwegian
artist Olav Christopher Jenssen.
After a tour we participated in a workshop-
and I joined the group. I sure tell you that I was
more enthusiastic than ever- I just love
to create without any strings- just sit and
do things with your hands is fantastic.
This really made my whole week!

I hope you can find something to do that makes
you happy!

h h hi!!
Sister II. Mixed media. 25x25.

A tour this Tuesday at the city hall gallery and Olav Christopher Jenssen´s art.

By the way Olav Christopher Jenssen´s sculptures were hung they created a feeling of being in the woods surrounded by these floating objects.

Inspired by the exhibition my students (and I) headed to do some art.
Can you see what the source of inspiration was?  ;)

happiness

Be creative- happiness will follow!¨

I believe each and one of us should do what
makes them truly happy.

I am a very creative person.
So I think that is one necessity in my life,
something I need in order to function.
In a way it sounds odd to say that but
in my world there´s nothing else that
really makes me happy (well- besides family
and friends of course!!)

Creativity creates an open mind to other
things, too, and in my opinion that makes us
creative people curious about life and keep
us going froward.
And guess what I do when I feel down and
depressed- I do creative things!!

What is creative in your life?
Really, think this over!!
It doesn´t have to be arts and design, interior or
other diys and crafts.
Just be curious about new things and
explore life in a new way!

Photochallenge at ingenvanligdag.

Creativity in my life. This makes me happy.

Be alone with my paints and brushes and create art.

Stroll around other people´s creative work.

To see the beauty in small details.

Enjoy the opportunities that are given to me. And take in the silence.

Surround myself by color.

Create something fun with other things than just arts.

sense for details

Parts of the artist Anne Lange´s home
in Slöinge was open this summer for
vintage and garden thrifting.
And gee
this woman has a sense for details!!
I just adore her husband´s and her
big home Prästgården 101 (an old rectory)
and the mix
of arts, new and old things.

My contribution to photochallenge at ingenvanligdag.

Here a few pictures from Anne´s wonderfully artistic home. I just love it!

Some nice art in Anne´s garden. Here sculptures by Noah Ljungberg.

A face on an easel makes a nice feature in the garden.

Lanters hung in the trees along the path.

So cool in the backyard.

A few details from Anne´s lovely artist studio.

the lady on trampoline/kvinnan på trampolinen

I love this sculpture!! I bought it from on of my students, Jenny. She was really good at sculpturing and forming things with her hands. As you see I´ve hung it(oh sorry, my beloved husband hung it!) high up. I thought that was cool. First I wanted it to be above our big bath tub but then I changed my mind and since we´ve got the hight in our home, why not let her dive down to it all!
