After Easter Feelings

I don´t really like Eater Decorations
so I made my own ones to decorate my home with.
Here some pics from my home and things that
put me into spring mood.

I  just adore my deer clock I bought a few years back.
Makes me smile.

Eggs in middle. (my art)

Here it is still hanging...

The boy´s head. I love children...Hard not to love this little head.

A favourite corner in the flat.

I found a big brush that I simply stuck into some concrete...

...and added a little detail.

I collected seaweed and embedded an egg there. Safe!

I just had to go on with the egg-theme so I made a little group of eggs.

Three eggs in a row...Another idea. Keep together!

Hope you enjoyed!

Sunday thoughts

Two things on my mind...

I miss my old studio.
It was perfect for my art.

...but I will try my best without it.
Not Whine.
Just work.
And enjoy the moment.
There will always be space
somewhere for creativeness!!

white bucket

See the beauty in everything-
are words that I really can recognize
myself in.
You see, when I was clearing out the
studio in the big move I discovered that
I can get stupidly attached to very odd
things. One was, for instance, this white
paint bucket, which in fact, was totally
empty from any white paint what so ever
but I thought it seemed so beautiful with its
stains and dots from paint. The thing is that
I considered to keep the bucket!
I know I know I know.
Anyway, I threw it away. Before that I had
to take a
few photos. Although now I feel even more
stupid that
I even took the photos but here we go.
Here it is-
               the white bucket.

the studio move

My studio move.
Yes.
The big move from my studio is now over.
I am a bit sad but yet
excited what the future has to bring me.
I have now decided on a spot in my
house and keep up with my arty projects
at home arena instead.

Keep the creativity going!
At least I will never give up.

surf

Surf´s up!

I´ve been working with surf paintings
to be sold at nearby interior shop.
It´s been a different kind of project-
a bit commercial but fun
because
the pics do not have to be so deep
but can involve images that are common
and texts where people recognize
themselves in.
AND
It´s all about being creative!

I love this job.

Work evolving with the surf paintings.

One of my daughter´s friends has taken this photo and I got the privilege to use it in the painting.

"A feeling of freedom"

"One with the wave"

" To dare is an own art form"

happiness

Be creative- happiness will follow!¨

I believe each and one of us should do what
makes them truly happy.

I am a very creative person.
So I think that is one necessity in my life,
something I need in order to function.
In a way it sounds odd to say that but
in my world there´s nothing else that
really makes me happy (well- besides family
and friends of course!!)

Creativity creates an open mind to other
things, too, and in my opinion that makes us
creative people curious about life and keep
us going froward.
And guess what I do when I feel down and
depressed- I do creative things!!

What is creative in your life?
Really, think this over!!
It doesn´t have to be arts and design, interior or
other diys and crafts.
Just be curious about new things and
explore life in a new way!

Creativity in my life. This makes me happy.

Be alone with my paints and brushes and create art.

Stroll around other people´s creative work.

To see the beauty in small details.

Enjoy the opportunities that are given to me. And take in the silence.

Surround myself by color.

Create something fun with other things than just arts.

my style

My style is to do lots
and lots of things all the time!
I love having a creative life.
I am not a lazy kind of person if
you ask me.
I love being active with my family
and friends.
I have my studio.
I have my cottage garden.
I have my job.

Yep- that´s me.

At times I need to take
a break, though, and this
is one of these times when
it is actually happening.
I am moving out from my studio!
Well, it is time to calm down a bit
but I will still  have a few artistic
project going on, so I am not worried. :)

My acrylics go into the bag.

My paintings will be sold at a local store.

Chaos is taking over the shelves.

I will even miss this paint bucket.

A bit tired and sad but it has to be done.

a hobby

Painting is such a nice
hobby for any kind of person!
It is lovely just to sit down
an let the creativity flow and
colors to speak. You don´t need
any high ambitions, you can
just sit and enjoy the moment!

A while ago I had a few enthusiasts
attending one of my workshops
in my studio. We tried out some techniques
in acrylic painting and gee
we had such a great time together!
Many of the lovely ones there
had not painted like this before so for
them it was a different but hopefully
a pleasant experience.

Hope you have a creative hobby!
